OWL'S WORDS OF WISDOM
NATIVE AMERICAN INDIAN WORDS OF WISDOM

THESE WORDS ARE PASSED ON TO THOSE WITH OPEN HEARTS AND WILLINGNESS TO LEARN FROM OTHERS
MAY THEY BRING INSPIRATION AND MOTIVATION TO YOUR EXISTENCE

ELDERS TEACH US

Old people are highly respected, honored and loved.
They are regarded as the living links with their ancestors.
My Elders are great teachers.
When I use them as a sounding board, I gain a necessary perspective.

RESPECT OTHER CULTURES

Always remove your shoes before entering a local house.
Sometimes, what we learn from other cultures doesn't have to be political or spiritual.
It can just be something good to do.

SPEAK THE TRUTH
When you lie to a person, you hurt his soul.
When I speak the truth as best I can, I am adding to the healing energy of the planet.
UNFAIRNESS

Unfairness occurs when one group is dealt with in terms of another group's culture.
Perhaps, if I really try, I will not contribute to the total mass of unfairness in the world.

WISDOM
Wisdom
The wisest man sees the least, says the least, but prays the most.
Wisdom is about living. It is about things.
